    You enter a modern bookstore and coffee shop in Corso Magenta 65...and exiting on the back you discover the historic Casa degli Atellani and Leonardo's Vineyard! In fact, this vineyard had been a gift offered by Ludovico Il Moro - Duke of Milan - to Leonardo in 1498. Forgotten and abandoned for several centuries, it has been discovered again in 2015 and recreated through the work of scientists, geneticists and DNA experts. In 2018 the first Malvasia grapes have been gathered...and wine is now in preparation. See also the Yelp reviews related to Casa degli Antellani.

    Waitstaff refused to even acknowledge our presence.   We had to get up and leave after 20 minutes patiently waiting to even receive a menu.  Waiters lack of eye contact and avoidance made their position very clear.  Foreigners beware.
